2011, one year after after the devastating earthquake in Haiti.
Jean Olibrice made his way to the communities of Lacidras and Marmont.
Upon arrival Jean learned that both communties had no clean drinking water, while the closest water source was a river that was contaminated and over 2 kilometers away.
This marked the begining of Sailing Eagles.
young girls and women in these communities have to spend most of their time carrying water almost daily, instead of spending well needed time at home or at school developing essential skills.
Nicola M Martis and Jean Olibrice are the advocates that began this movement to alieviate communites and empower to create a future where security, confidence and self belief are its cornerstones.Jean is a retired high school teacher, and Nicola ,educator at Amo Ososwan has currently moved on to become the owner of Misteary, an artisnal soaps,natural teas and wellness business.
